Had a 'dawning moment' this morning when I finally got my head around the scam that is known as credit. I have always assumed that a credit had an equivalent value to a pound. Therefore if I received a credit card which had a £10,000 credit limit I was able to use the card to spend the £10,000 on anything I desired. I thought that the bank had loaded the credit account with £10,000 of the banks own money which was sat waiting for me to use whenever I needed it.
Turns out this is not the case at all.
Lawful Rebellion is a profile that is being raised across the
blogosphere. True not every blog author calls it by this name but it
isn't too hard to realise that it is exactly what they are espousing.
I've come to the conclusion that no matter what monetary system is in place anywhere in the world money itself is an utterly useless artificial, as in man made, construct.
It doesn't matter what backs the system, metals, carbon, blind belief, promises or just a fear of the unknown money is an utterly useless artificial, as in man made construct.
The problem with this country is it is full of moronic idiots who are
incapable of thinking for themselves. This fact was brought home to me
on a sojourn to my local Co-op (was a supermarket but is now just a
giant convenience store).
I had nearly stopped shopping at the Co-op once it was made clear that
the local labour stooge was standing on a Labour and Co-operative Party
ticket. I knew such a thing as the Co-op party existed but to my
chagrin I didn't realise my bread and milk purchases went to fund
buffoons who fancied a place at the Trough of Westminster. Still I was
saved as I actually ended up costing the silly shop workers union USDAW
and its sponsorship of Labour buffoons because one of the staff said
she hated Labour and what it had done to her country. That's what she
called it 'her country'. I wish the some of the 21,000 socialist
sympathisers around here could have heard her.
Anyway's she said she was working when Woodcock and his socialist crew
turned up for a photo shoot outside the shop and it sickened her that
her union dues were helping fund his campaign. So I told her about the
political opt out form that somehow USDAW had neglected to mention was
available. To say she was gobsmacked was putting it mildly. Anyway she
was going to pass the message around the store staff as many of them
didn't want to support their unions support of people like Mr Woodcock.
Result.
So I can continue to use the local Co-op for life's essentials and was
in there this morning when an 18 year old lad on the other side of the
till espied a dapper old gent complete with Trilby rolling up to the
till.
"Did you vote on Thursday" shouted the lad.
"Always do" replied the old fellow.
"Who did you vote for. Was it Labour?" enquired the young'un.
"Yes of course I did. I know which side my bed is buttered on!" came the incredible reply.
This is what anyone wanting to bring personal liberty to the masses is
up against. The masses aren't interested in personal liberty.
The election that was 'supposed' to damage Labour for many a long year.
The election that was 'supposed' to return the Conservatives to power.
The election that was 'supposed' to be the Liberal Democrats breakthrough election.
The election that was 'supposed' to give the BNP at least one MP.
The election that was 'supposed' to give UKIP at least five MP's...
The election where no-one from the armed forces was allowed to vote, a frankly sickening turn of affairs that beggars belief.
Is over.
No really it is a stupid world.
Continuing with my study of things I and millions of others take for
granted even though we know they are just plain wrong I was looking at
the world of licensing again and it has become clear that a licence
gives the issuer two things. The power to charge and the power to
control.
These two powers underpin EVERYTHING that goes on in this stupid
world... at least everything that goes on in the stupid world we take
for granted.
Is there an election on?
I've taken the simple step of ignoring the election and you know what it
almost goes away. I've not watched any politician lie in public on the
BBC and get away with it. I have never answered the door to a local
political activist who would only stand there and lie. I've only heard
about the storm in a tea cup surrounding Brown because I cannot wean
myself off the blog of Captain Ranty. Bstard!
Captain Ranty a heady brew of lawful rebellion and politics.
